As you approach this impressive peak you can’t help asking yourself, “Is it really possible to walk up it?”. Well it is! In fine weather, provided you are in good physical condition and have a good sense of balance in order to cross all the sloping blocks, this hike is possible and offers great panoramic views over this part of the islands which few people visit. The large cylindrical cairn at the top proves that the peak was even relatively popular at one time. Nowadays, according to the logbook in the cairn at the top, only thirty or so hikers climb this magnificent peak each year.
