Coming from Leknes take the 817 road to the entrance to the village of Stamsund. Take Ringveien street on the right directly opposite the 'Bil & Dekkservice' garage. Continue approximately 600m then take Halsbakkan street on your right.

Description

When you get to the little port of Stamsund, where the Hurtigruten line ships call, it’s difficult to believe that a fantastic hike starts only a few hundred metres away! The route, which requires a good head for heights in certain places, takes us from peak to peak on a trail that follows a very jagged mountain ridge. Throughout this hike high up in the mountains, which requires a certain degree of skill, the unobstructed outlook means you have great panoramic views over Vestfjord and the entire large island of Vestvågøya
