Bonjour tout le monde,
J'arrive le 9 Juillet 2015 à Svolvaer avec ma compagne pour commencer la traversée des Lofotens le lendemain ( le vendredi 10 juillet donc), Je compte éviter les deux premieres étapes ( Delp/Sandsletta et Sandsletta/Svolvaer) car je n'ai pas de voiture et attendre le bus jusqu'a Delp nous ferait perdre une journée ( premier bus au départ de Svolvaer à 15.15 si je ne me trompe pas ??? ). J'ai néanmoins assez peur de l'enneigement sur les sommets de la traversée car actuellement en Suède ( où je fais mes études) la neige est fortement présente sur les hauteurs en Laponie.
Avez vous des nouvelles sur l'état d'enneigement et si il est toujours possible d'envisager la traversée depuis svolvaer jusqu'à A ?

I am travelling from the 9th to the 23rd of July and was wondering if the crossing form svolvaer to A is free of snow or at least if it is possibble to hike all the way through the island without being stucked in the snow?

Hello Everyone,
Yes the track is now free of snow from Svolvaer to A i Lofoten (excepted for some small and non dangerous snowfields in two or three pass and summits).
You should avoid the Stage No. 2 "Sandsletta/Svolvaer" until it is TOTALLY free of snow (probably until the end of July this year)
