Hello everyone.
I`ll me hiking with my girlfriend on Lofoten islans in few weeks time. We`ll hike the long crossing of the archipelago and i wonder are there any trail marking in the nature. We will be carrying papermaps, no gps device. I understand that there are trails marked on the maps but in the nature?!

There are unfortunately very few marked trail in the Lofoten Islands. That is one of the reason of this web site and the GPS tracks 
If you have a very good sens of orientation and you are use to walk in to the wild, you should make it with paper maps.

Thank you for your answer.
Then i`ll have to draw the line on the paper maps and use my orienteering skill when i want to follow the gpx route.
